1. Introduction

Welcome to SnipferAI ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website found at www.snipfer.com (the "Site"), and our related software, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant to us that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you have not previously been suspended or removed from the Services; and (c) your registration and your use of the Services is in compliance with any and all applicable laws and regulations.

3. User Accounts and Security

To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions. You must verify your email address to activate your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that we suspect are compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to do any of the following:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law;
  • Violate, or encourage others to violate, any right of a third party, including by infringing or misappropriating any third-party intellectual property right;
  • Interfere with security-related features of the Services, including by: (i) disabling or circumventing features that prevent or limit use or copying of any content; or (ii) reverse engineering or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of any portion of the Services except to the extent that the activity is expressly permitted by applicable law;
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services or any user’s enjoyment of the Services, including by: (i) uploading or otherwise disseminating any virus, adware, spyware, worm, or other malicious code; (ii) making any unsolicited offer or advertisement to another user of the Services; (iii) collecting personal information about another user or third party without consent; or (iv) interfering with or disrupting any network, equipment, or server connected to or used to provide the Services;
  • Perform any fraudulent activity including impersonating any person or entity, claiming a false affiliation, accessing any other Service account without permission, or falsifying your age or date of birth;
  • Sell or otherwise transfer the access granted under these Terms or yours right to view content; or
  • Attempt to do any of the acts described in this Section 4 or assist or permit any person in engaging in any of the acts described in this Section 4.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services are owned and operated by SnipferAI. The visual interfaces, graphics, design, compilation, information, data, computer code (including source code or object code), products, software, services, and all other elements of the Services ("Materials") provided by us are protected by intellectual property and other laws. All Materials included in the Services are the property of SnipferAI or its third-party licensors. Except as expressly authorized by us, you may not make use of the Materials. There are no implied licenses in these Terms and we reserve all rights to the Materials not expressly granted to you in these Terms.

6. Subscription and Billing

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription. At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or SnipferAI cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting SnipferAI customer support team.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SNIPFERAI OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR (A) ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR PROFITS) DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT SNIPFERAI HAS BEEN WARNED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE; (B) AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES MORE THAN THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO SNIPFERAI FOR THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS OF THE SERVICES IN QUESTION.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES AND ALL MATERIALS AND CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ON AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. SNIPFERAI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATING TO THE SERVICE AND ALL MATERIALS AND CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING: (A) ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT; AND (B) ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE, OR TRADE. SNIPFERAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY PORTION OF THE SERVICE, OR ANY MATERIALS OR CONTENT OFFERED THROUGH THE SERVICE, WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, AND SNIPFERAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY OF THOSE ISSUES WILL BE CORRECTED.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will create a reasonable effort to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.

10. AI Accuracy and Automated Decisions

The Services utilize SnipferIntelâ„¢, an AI-driven threat detection engine. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Informational Purposes: All risk scores, threat categorizations, and scan results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal or professional advice.
  • No Sole Basis: You shall not use scan results as the sole basis for making high-stakes decisions, including but not limited to, termination of employment, legal accusations, or financial transactions.
  • False Positives/Negatives: No AI engine is 100% accurate. Results may include false positives (misidentifying safe content as a threat) or false negatives (failing to identify a threat).

11. Third-Party Platform Compliance

When using our social media scanning features, you represent that you are authorized to access the associated accounts and that your use of SnipferAI complies with the terms of service of the respective platforms (e.g., Facebook, Reddit, X). SnipferAI is not responsible for any account suspension or action taken by third-party platforms resulting from your use of the Services.

12. Professional Advice Disclaimer

SnipferAI is a technical security tool. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal interpretation of your data. For definitive compliance with specific laws (such as HIPAA, GDPR, or regional employment laws), you must consult with qualified legal or compliance professionals.
